Places to visit

Duck and Goose hunt in Western Mongolia, near the town of Olgiy. All waterfowl that nest in Siberia pass through The Mongolian Steppe on their way to wintering in the South Asian seas. Considering the arid climate and short migration period, a large number of waterfowl concentrate in several lakes and marshes that exist in Mongolia. The birds remain completely undisturbed, since local people never hunt them.

 Short Tour Description 

Day 1:

Upon arrival at the airport we will be welcomed by your guide. He will bring us to your comfortable, centrally located hotel. In the afternoon we will have a drive to Zaisan Memorial, build by the Russians to commemorate unknown soldiers from different wars. Located on a Southern hill of Ulaanbaatar, we will be able to enjoy an excellent view of the capital and the surrounding countryside. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 2:

Fly to Ulgii.

Day 3 - 7:

Hunting Duck and Geeze on the Achit Nuur, Dayan Nuur, Horgon (Khorgon or Khorkhon) Nuur, Khovd (Hovd) River, Hyargas Nuur, Har (Khar) nuur, Havas (Khavas) nuurOrog (Urug) Nuur, Uvs Nuur lakes. Once we are there we will define exactly which rivers and lakes we will hunt.

Day 8:

Fly back to Ulaanbaatar.

Day 9:

Free day in Ulaanbaatar. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a good restaurant. Overnight in a Hotel.

Day 10:

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure
